The body of a swimmer who went missing at Hawks Nest, north of Newcastle, late last week has been found.
Police say a walker made the grizzly discovery at Bennetts Beach this morning.
The 20-year-old, believed to be from Sydney’s north shore, became caught in a rip while swimming at the beach on Friday.
Two other men in the water at the time had to be rescued by life savers, while a third was able to swim to safety.
