A man’s been taken to Tamworth Base Hospital with critical head injuries after a head-on collision on the Oxley Highway at Westdale this afternoon.
Around 3pm, a red hatchback crashed into a truck, near Goddard Lane.
The driver of the smaller vehicle was found unconscious, with fire and rescue crews needed to remove him from the wreckage.
The truck driver escaped without injury.
