Ballina Shire Council is ramping up their efforts to reduce fashion waste, launching a new circular economy project encouraging locals to repair damaged clothing, rather than bin it.
Many local cafes are now also reducing their single-use plastics, and are now instead hiring out reusable cups to their customers.
