Residents cleaning up from last week’s bushfires will be able to dispose of their waste for free until the end of March.
The State Government has temporarily wavered the waste levy for the Kempsey, Port Macquarie-Hastings, and Mid Coast Councils.
The exemption only applies to bushfire damaged materials.
Residents should advise their local council before heading to the tip.
