A woman has died in a four-vehicle crash on the mid-north coast this morning.
The accident, involving a B-Double, two sedans and utility – happened just before nine-o’clock on the Pacific Highway near Telegraph Point.
The female passenger in one of the sedans died at the scene.
Another person had to be freed from the wreckage by emergency services.
All other drivers and passengers were being assessed by paramedics at the scene, and the injured were taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
There are heavy traffic delays with motorists advised to avoid the New England Highway.
