POLICE RELEASE NEW INFORMATION ABOUT GRAFTON HIT AND RUN

Police have released new details about the car involved in a serious hit and run incident on the state’s north coast last week, that left three people seriously injured.

Officers have been told the vehicle is a white Toyota Hilux king or crew cab, described as being an early to late 90’s model, with a black bull bar, raised suspension and mud terrain tyres.

It’s believed to be fitted with a short aluminium tray, that police say suffered significant damage in the collision, with sections of the tray floor and side rails becoming detached.

Just after 12.30pm last Friday, the utility was travelling along Black Smith Shop Road near Dalmorton, when it clipped a parked 4WD and hit three pedestrians.

A 19 year-old woman remains in Grafton Hospital in a stable condition.

A 54 year-old man remains in Coffs Harbour Hospital in a serious but stable condition, a 19-year-old woman is still in Grafton Hospital in a stable condition, while a 57-year-old man has been released from hospital.

Anyone who has information or has seen the vehicle is asked to contact police.
