Extended highlights of the men’s final in the World Surf League test event held at Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch, Lemoore, California.
The contest was held to evaluate the new technology as it pertains to performance, competitive format, broadcast and spectator interaction as well as overall experience.
Avoca’s Adrian Buchan was one of four finalists. Kanoa Igarashi, Felipe Toledo and Gabriel Medina also qualified for the final with Medina taking out the historic event.
