Tamworth’s mental health facility could be in line for an overhaul.
The Banksia unit was left out of the $220-million hospital redevelopment..
Local member Kevin Anderson says the current facility is in desperate need of a facelift.
“Whether it is a new Banksia or a redeveloped Banksia, we’ll be waiting on the audit that’s been undertaken on Mental Health facilities right across the state.”
