A shortened shotgun and drugs have allegedly been found during a vehicle stop near Lake Macquarie yesterday.
Police stopped a Mitsubishi Lancer on Dunbar Avenue in Cameron Park at around 2am this morning, finding the weapon and an amount of the drug ice.
The driver, a 41-year-old man was arrested and later released pending further inquiries.
Three passengers, two males aged 19 and 20, and a woman, aged 17, were released without charge.
