Avoca kayaker Lachlan Tame has suffered a setback in his Olympic preparations at the Canoe Sprint World Cup.
Tame and partner Ken Wallace finished seventh in the semi final of the K2 1000, after fading 500-metres before the finish.
Meanwhile, fellow Avoca kayaker Riley Fitzsimmons will be in action tonight, in the K4 final.
