Crown reserves and caravan parks on the north coast will undergo major upgrades following the allocation of more than $2-million in grants and loans by the state government.
Among those to benefit is the Urunga Heads Caravan Park which will receive $730,000 toward the construction of four cabins and additional powered sites.
The waterfront caravan park, which is a popular tourist destination, has recently received a number of improvements including cycleways and picnic facilities.
New public day-use amenities will also be constructed in the reserve.
