Paterson MP Bob Baldwin’s re-election campaign today received a boost when Julie Bishop helped present the local citizen of the year award.
But Ms Bishop didn’t come with any election sweeteners.
“Well Bob is making the same promise that we’re all making and that is if the coalition is elected to govern we’ll cut out the wasteful and wreckful spending.”
And the fight against Julia Gillard is clearly having an effect.
“I invited Julia….(turns) I’ve got Julia on the brain at the moment.”
