The driver of a car involved in a single vehicle accident in Nana Glen has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.
The fatal crash occurred in early June, the 46-year-old driver receiving only minor injuries.
His 23-year-old passenger was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver has also been charged with negligent driving causing death.
He will appear in Coffs Harbour Local Court on September 26.
