TAREE HIGH SCHOOLS TARGETED BY THIEVES

3 Taree high schools were hit by thieves over night, with police arresting two teenagers from Port Macquarie.

Authorities found a number of power tools, jerry cans and other industrial items belonging to the schools in a nearby car.

“Inside the vehicle was a number of times of property beloved to have been the proceeds of break and enter offences and we have since found out there was 3 break and enters at schools in the Taree area,” said Act Insp Matthew Hinton.

Saint Clare’s, Chatham High and Manning Valley Anglican College were all targeted.
