SECTION OF OXLEY HIGHWAY PARTIALLY REOPENS TO COMMUTERS

A section of the Oxley Highway between Mount Seaview and Yarras has partially reopened, after 70 land-slips forced the highway to close last month.

The 12-kilometre stretch is now servicing traffic, by single-lane use only.

Crews from both Walcha and Port Macquarie councils have been working alongside Transport New South Wales to restore the road.

The remaining section, between Mount Seaview and Ginger’s Creek, is expected to reopen by July.
