The RMS has improved the safety of a notorious stretch of road in Tamworth, by reducing the speed limit.
A spate of accidents on Moore Creek Road between Bradley Place and Verdelho Drive over the past five years prompted a review.
The speed limit will be reduced from 100 kilometres an hour to 60.
Increased traffic in the area was also used as a reason behind the decision.
