The Old Bar Clams have confirmed they won’t be fielding a team in this year’s Lower Mid North Coast Rugby competition.
The committee cites a lack of players behind the decision, saying its lost more than 30 first grade players in the past two years alone.
The club says it will re-build this year, particularly its junior base, for the 2014 season.
The Clams are arguably one of the best teams in the competition, playing in the grand final for the past five years and winning two premierships.
