LOWER CLARENCE FUNDRAISE FOR PURCELL FAMILY

The Lower Clarence Magpies are dedicating this weekend to former player Zane Purcell.

Named ‘the Game for Zane’, the players will don black armbands in honour of their 29-year-old team mate who tragically passed away whilst on the field last weekend.

Hosting three home games, the Magpies Club will donate the days takings to Zane’s wife and two children Bonnie, and Izayah. (Eyes-Ay-A)

They are also in the planning stages of creating an account for others to make donations.

The games begin at midday on Sunday at the Maclean showgrounds.
