Cloud and showers engulfed the Central Coast and Newcastle this afternoon. Fine and sunny elsewhere around the region.
The cloud moving in over parts of the Central Coast and Hunter tonight will move up the coast as the southerly winds kick in.
So the southerly winds will freshen along the coast and cloud spread further north along with the isolated showers.
