LISMORE POLICE HUNT FOR ARMED ROBBERS

Lismore police are appealing for information following two unrelated armed robberies overnight.
At four o’clock this morning two masked men held up a Coraki Bakery on Richmond Terrace, stealing cash and escaping in a stolen Toyota Echo.
Eight hours earlier the Station Hotel in South Lismore was targeted.
Police say a man threatened an employee with a firearm before stealing cash.
“The male was described as caucasian appearance approximately 170 – 175 cm tall. At the time he was wearing a white T-Shirt a black cap and also a black sunglasses.”
Police are investigating the possibility that he could be responsible for others robberies in the area.
