MUCH MORE THAN TEA AND SCONES

Proving there’s much more to the Country Women’s Association than tea and scones, branches across the state threw open their doors today to reveal what they’re all about.

Port Macquarie’s evening CWA branch hosted a morning tea at Governor’s Retirement Resort.

The group, whose youngest member is 15 and oldest is 95, celebrated the association’s achievements with a mask-making competition, following the theme of CWA Revealed.

The association has 11,000 members in 450 branches across the state which actively fundraise for their communities.
