In Group 3 Rugby League, the Forster-Tuncurry Hawks are still celebrating their first win of the season, taking down Wingham Tigers 18 to 12.
The recently formed first grade side has had a few close calls but Saturday’s win was something to cheer about.
Next week they take Wauchope who sit one above them at the bottom of the ladder.
Coach Matt Kirkland says they’ll be keeping the combinations that helped them seal the weekend win.
