A 34-year-old male driver has been killed in a head-on crash in the state’s north.
The accident happened just before 4pm today, on Ellis Road in Rous, about 15km from Ballina.
The driver and sole occupant of the first vehicle was deceased at the scene when police arrived.
A woman and child from the second vehicle were taken to Lismore Hospital for precautionary checks.
