A man has been refused bail charged over a fatal stabbing at the Lake Macquarie suburb of Windale overnight.
Police say two men were arguing in a Butler Place unit at around 7 o’clock, when one was stabbed in the chest and torso.
He was taken to John Hunter Hospital where he died a short time later.
The 39 year old man will face Newcastle Local Court tomorrow.
