Meanwhile, fire crews were also kept busy in Wingham this morning, when a house went up in flames.
It took three units to extinguish the fire which broke out just before 7 o’clock.
“I didn’t think they were going to get it out, it was pretty intense, smoke was starting to come from the side of the house to underneath the roof so thought it was maybe going completely through the house,” says Sarah Williams.
Police say they are still determining the cause of the blaze, which caused extensive damage.
Luckily, no one was injured.
