HUNTER EMBARKING ON A GREENER FUTURE

The Hunter is taking steps towards becoming more environmentally friendly.

A recycling vending machine was unveiled at Medowie today.

It pays 10 cents per container – redeemable for cash or food credit at Woolworths.

Meanwhile, Newcastle Council will join the Ban the Bag campaign, and start a clean-up closer to home.
