A child has died in a car rollover in the upper Hunter this afternoon.
Police say a 4WD ran out of control and rolled on The Golden Highway near the intersection of Ulan Road in Cassilis, around 2:30pm this afternoon.
One of the five occupants of the car, a young child, died at the scene.
The four remaining occupants were treated at the scene by paramedics for before being taken to Dubbo Hospital.
