A 52 year old man is in a critical condition after being pulled unconscious from the surf at Angourie, near Yamba, this morning.
Onlookers conducted CPR on the man until paramedics arrived.
Once stable, he was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
