People power appears to have prevailed in the Camden Haven.
More than 100 locals made submissions to council, disappointed at the Beach to Beach Riverwalk being overlooked in its Draft Budget.
The volunteer group, which has been building a six-kilometre footpath, says it’s been asking for funding for several years.
But it says council has now agreed to include the project as an item of consideration.
