A truck driver was trapped in his vehicle for a short time this morning following a crash at Tomago.
Emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway just after nine o’clock, after the truck slammed into the back of another rig.
A man, believed to be aged in his 60s, was taken to John Hunter Hospital with suspected leg injuries.
The crash caused heavy traffic southbound.
