With Casino Beef Week just around the corner, these eager high school students got some valuable hands-on experience.
Brushing up on their cattle skills and learning new tricks of the trade as part of Beef Education Day.
“Today we have the kids that are participating in Beef Week in the led steer competition, we have an education day and in conjunction with the Casino Show Society, we’ve been doing it for about four years now.”
Casino Beef Week will kick off with the official opening night and crowning of the Beef Queen next Saturday.
