Work to transform part of the Tamworth CBD is about to commence, with Fitzroy Street set to undergo a major reconstruction.
More than $4-million dollars is being spent on creating Tamworth’s own ‘Martin Place’, which will see the street reduced to one lane.
It’ll mean 14 car spaces will be lost.
The project is set to be completed by mid-December.
