Preparations are well underway for the return of Newcastle’s replica William the Fourth.
A specialist crane was today assembled at Carrington, ahead of the ship’s re-float on Monday following an extensive restoration.
Able to carry up to 300-tonnes, the heavy lifter is one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere.
