FOUR HUNTER SCHOOLS MAKE TOP LIST FOR BIGGEST BACKLOG

Rutherford Technology High School is among several schools in the Hunter set to benefit big from a multi-million dollar maintenance blitz.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian today announced an extra $60-million to give the state’s deteriorating public schools a facelift.

Rutherford High has one of the biggest repair backlogs – and received nearly $2-million from the kitty.

Irrawang, Cessnock and Hunter River high schools were also high on the funding list.
