Hunter jockey Blake Spriggs has returned to racing, three months after a shocking fall at Hawkesbury.
Spriggs had six rides at Cessnock today, with his best result a second in race six, onboard Invicta.
His biggest achievement is simply being back in the saddle, pain free, after fracturing his knee cap.
“Yeah it’s feeling terrific. Funny thing is I actually don’t realise it until people ask me, which is a good sign.”
