Hemp advocates were celebrating today after a ministerial forum on food regulation approved the legal consumption of hemp products with low levels of the mind altering substance T-H-C.
Boasting major health benefits hemp seeds are already sold legally in 21 developed countries.
For Central Coast advocate Darius Dunn, the decision is a major step forward in achieving his dream of establishing an industrial hemp industry and processing facility locally.
