Richmond Valley Council’s decision to slash the water charges paid by Casino Meatworks by 49c cents a kilolitre has been met with hostility.
CEO of the Northern Co-operative Meat Company says the cut is not significant enough and will force the company to build it’s own water treatment plant to remain viable.
