Port Macquarie-Hastings lifeguards are taking a well-deserved break, after what they’ve described as a successful patrol season.
Almost 100 beach rescues were conducted across the region since September last year.
Lifeguards also performed 680 first aid treatments and more than 5,000 preventative actions.
Patrols will resume in September.
