An unattended candle is believed to be the cause of a house fire in Calala last night.
Emergency services were called to the home on Hibiscus Way just before 8:30.
On arrival, crews found the laundry well alight, with the fire starting to spread to the family room.
The blaze was quickly extinguished, with the home suffering extensive smoke damage.
The owners were not inside at the time.
