The search for a 17-year-old boy from Sydney has resumed north of Coffs Harbour today.
Ali Al-Mosawi was last seen in the ocean with his brother and three cousins at a remote beach in the Yuragir National Park on Saturday afternoon.
Rescue efforts have now been handed over to Wooli Marine Rescue – today two drones scanned from above.
Police say the teenager lost his footing and got caught in a rip.
His classmates have been maintaining a vigil at Pebbly Beach.
