Newcastle’s Christ Church Cathedral has been recognised for its contributions to the tourism sector.
The church has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence in the attractions category by the world’s largest travel website, Trip Advisor, based on good reviews.
It’s not the first time the Hunter has been recognised on the site.
Cessnock was ranked sixth in the top 10 Australian travel destinations as voted by users this year.
