Entries have officially closed for next January’s Pittwater to Coffs yachting classic but organisers will still accept late entrants if they supply a good excuse.
So far more than 50 boats will take part in the 226 nautical mile event including a legendary Sydney to Hobart maxi.
“Well a late entrant is Ragamuffin – it’s just entered the race – we’re quite happy about that,” said Coffs Harbour Yacht Club spokesman Garry Innes.
Coffs Harbour yacht B52 looks like a no show at this stage but at least eight new boats will compete.
