SAND SCRAPPING TRIAL ON OLD BAR BEACH

Mid-Coast Council is attempting to bring erosion under control at Old Bar Beach.

Sand-scraping will be undertaken this month, and a temporary sand buffer will be placed along a section of the beach.

It’s hoped the trial will provide a temporary fix from the impacts of storms.

Sections of the beach may be closed to the public as these works are carried out.
