Another attempt to stop Gunnedah Shire Council relocating its visitor information centre to Gunnedah’s CBD has failed.
Council held an extraordinary meeting overnight, after a vote to move the centre was divided because one councillor was missing from the monthly meeting.
Three councillors immediately filed a rescission motion to revisit the move, but last night the vote was five, four in favour of the centre opening at the Civic Theatre.
