A man has been struck by a bus in Newcastle earlier today.
The 66-year-old was at the intersection of Maitland Road and May Street at Islington when the incident occured, shortly before 3am.
He was taken to John Hunter Hospital with significant lacerations to his right arm.
Any witnesses are urged to come forward.
