Water restrictions at Werris Creek have been eased, with council lifting level one conservation measures.
They were imposed in January to help the town’s ageing water system cope with the hot weather.
Permanent conservation levels are still in place, with residents to avoid using sprinkler systems or hoses during the day and pools should be covered to reduce evaporation.
