Northern New South Wales Football has taken the first step towards helping to establish a national women’s FFA Cup, by announcing the first-ever female State Cup, which will be held at Speers Point in September.
Senior women’s teams are now being invited to submit expressions of interest.
It’s all part of the plan to bring women’s competitions across Australia up to the professional standards being set in the men’s National Premier Leagues.
