Police have allegedly seized amphetamines during a vehicle stop in a Newcastle suburb overnight.
Shortly before 11 o’clock, police stopped a Nissan Navara on Link Road, near Transfield Avenue in Wallsend.
Police searched the vehicle, where they allegedly found a number of small bags containing more than 10-grams of amphetamines.
The 46-year-old driver was charged with possessing a prohibited drug and supplying a prohibited drug.
He will appear in court later this month.
