The Easter weekend has ended tragically in the New England, with at least one person killed in a car accident.
The crashed happened shortly after 1 o’clock today on Bald Knob Road, 20 kilometres from Glen Innes.
There were reports another person was trapped in a vehicle for some time.
Investigations are continuing.
