Locals campaigning for an ocean pool at Ballina say the proposal has received overwhelming support from the community.
The Coastal Reserve Trust will hold a meeting tomorrow, to decide whether to make the Ocean Pool Committee a delegated committee, allowing it to lodge a development application.
If successful, the group is hoping construction might begin late next year.
